The Rockridge District Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization funded almost exclusively by the for-profit business community in our geographic footprint. How much each business contributes is based on their gross revenue and business type. Because our district is funded by (largely small) business owners — and not property owners — we are one of the least-funded commercial districts in Oakland. Therefore, we are always grateful for the support of community-minded locals and corporate sponsors who invest in helping us keep the neighborhood healthy and thriving.

Though you can make a tax deductible donation at anytime for any reason, we are currently fundraising to support the annual Rock-N-Stroll and the Halloween Parade programs and promotions. Rock-N-Stroll brings local musicians to College Avenue for live performances, pop-up vendors to sell their locally-made products, and offers and activities for all ages to enjoy. In it’s fourth year, we are adding more activities such as food tastings, kids’ activities, and more.

In addition to Rock-N-Stroll, we are working with our partners at the Rockridge Community Planning Council to build on last year’s highly successful Halloween Parade! We would love to be able to help offset the cost of decor, candy, games, entertainment, and activities for this event, which we believe is on track to be one of Oakland’s best Halloween events (for kids) annually.

Any donation also helps us promote the good news in Rockridge. With new fashion boutiques, world class restaurants, amazing coffee, and so much more… we want to spread the word about why College Avenue is a destination neighborhood in the Bay Area.

Please make a tax-deductible donation to the Rockridge District Association today, and help support the commercial activities in the district for locals and visitors to enjoy. If you have question, please contact us at info@rockridgedistrict.com.
