Katherine Moffat is a Designer of cool and marvelous jewelry and art to wear, for the adventurous spirit who isn’t interested in
being lost in the crowd. “Life is too short for ordinary jewelry” she says, and her work is definitely anything but ordinary. None of her
designs are ever identical and each piece has a story.
Based in Los Angeles, Ms.Moffat creates her unique pieces using treasures she has collected from her travels over the years. “There isn’t a flea market, antiques shop or estate sale I can resist” she insists.
As a native Californian raised in LosAngeles, she is a former Miss International World having represented the US in Tokyo. That started her love of travel and gathering the intriguing bits and pieces that eventually found their way into her jewelry creations.
She began her nearly three decade acting career as a contract player for Universal Studios. That was followed by regular roles on several series, countless guest starring roles, and many movies.
When work was thin, Ms Moffat designed evening wear and wedding gowns and discovered her love of design far outweighed her love of acting.
Katherine is now happily retired from the entertainment business, designing full time, and feels she is finally in the career she was meant to be in. Each of her creations holds a big piece of her heart, and that’s just the way she likes it.
Her work is available in galleries, better boutiques and by private appointment. She has clients across the country and around the world and happily accepts custom commissions.
