Join the #Firestorm30 Commemorative Event & Memorial at Oakland’s Rockridge BART Station.

A memorial to the 25 lives lost. Gather at the Firestorm Tile Mural, a wall of 2,300 tiles that tell the story of the lives lost, fire, its aftermath, and the resilience of the community to rebuild. Mayor Libby Schaaf, Former Mayor Elihu Harris, Fire Chief Reggie Freeman, and BART Vice-President Rebecca Saltzman will all join in the remembrance. District One Councilmember Dan Kalb will be the MC for the event.
