Much deserved congratulations are in order to Bad Walter’s Bootleg Ice Cream for all the media fanfare received this summer. First, Oaklandside featured this Rockridge shop in it’s July 23 article, “The inside scoop: How one of the Bay Area’s favorite ice cream shops creates a new flavor, Bad Walter’s Bootleg Ice Cream is known for its lactose-free, creative flavors. Owner Sydney Arkin let Nosh follow the process.” San Francisco Bay Times got the scoop when they profiled this beloved new Rockridge business. And now the San Francisco Chronicle on August 1 names Bad Walter’s the best ice cream shop in the Bay! Booyah!
